	Description:		There was a time, not so long ago, when Eddie Hobbs was everywhere - on every radio show and in every newspaper, presenting his own hugely popular TV shows, and a few best-selling books too. He was even a regular character on Today FM’s Gift Grub! But, for various reasons that we talk about in this interview, Eddie started to spend less time in the media and more time running his own business and also writing and tweeting about some of the big economic and political issues facing us. And yes, we also talk about some of the well-publicised business failures that Eddie has been involved in over the last few years. This is an interview that packs a lot of punch. I enjoyed this conversation so much, that, when we finally wrapped up, I realised that we had been talking for over an hour and a half! So what we’re going to do is play you the first part of the chat in this episode – this is quite a personal part and we go pretty deep into what Eddie has been up to for the last few years and his personal ups and downs during that time. And then a little later we’ll release the second part, covering Eddie's time with the political party Renua, why he is not a fan of Sinn Fein’s economic policies, and why he thinks there is a huge amount of investigation to be done in relation to Ireland’s lockdown policy.
