Initially he was not a big fan of this week, upon thinking a little further, the team did improve and addressed certain areas. The bullpen did not add power but the guys they added are sinker pitchers who don't get hit for HRs. Then fresh from his media appearance we play the comments from Whit Merrifield (23:00) who essentially admitted that he has already been vaccinated and will join the Jays in Toronto. Next, a visit from Marc Ross from NFL Network (29:00) as the NFL kicks off tonight with the Hall of Fame Game - but - the biggest stories are the Dolphins punishment and the appeal in the DeShaun Watson case. Then (45:00) a story from Max Pacioretty about how Las Vegas was a total country club atmosphere that had no pressure on performance.
