Description:

Ben opens the show with Stephen Brunt (1:00) as we look ahead to Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals and the dominant story continues to be the Lighting and that this says about their place in history. Then a comparison to the Leafs roster who are very similar with being "top heavy." Later, over to the Jays and the impressive home debut of Moreno. We finish our visit with Stephen with the news of Terry Jones Post Media being laid off after 40+ years of sports writing. Next up we head to Denver where Elliotte Friedman joins us from The Stanley Cup Finals (30:00) They jump into the playoff format and why Elliotte believes there should be 20 teams in the tournament with a play-in round. The Commissioner maintains that 16 is the max and it makes the regular season count even more. Then the topic of honesty with coaches in the gambling era. As of the afternoon of Game 1 there is no starting goalie declared by the Avs and this is a missed opportunity.
