The owner of a California generator company is suing worship leader John Christopher “Sean” Feucht for fraud, alleging the musician took a $250,000 donation and used it to buy personal property.
Steve Bray, owner of Power Plus, filed suit in federal court on March 6. He’s asking for “restitution and disgorgement of all funds fraudulently obtained” as well as punitive damages and “any further relief” the court finds “just and proper.”
The lawsuit accuses Feucht, who rose to prominence by staging large, outdoor worship gatherings during COVID, of fraudulent misrepresentation, negligent misrepresentation, unfair business practices and civil theft by false pretenses.
