The NHL trade deadline is just over a week away, and many teams are ready to make moves. Montreal wants to add a first liner, and would be willing to retain salary on Patrik Laine to help free up space to make it happen. The Rangers would listen on Vincent Trochek, although his NMC will limit potential suitors. The Lightning and Kings are two teams looking for one more specific piece to help them out this spring. And the Leafs are in a tough spot, but may decide to extend pending UFA Bobby McMann rather than trade him.
