A lot of people wondered if the Tampa Bay Lightning would be able to survive the first ten weeks of the season without Andrei Vasilevskiy an the answer is that they aren’t just surviving, they’re thriving. Are the Bolts legit Cup threats this year?
Out west, many thought the Vancouver Canucks could jump back into the playoffs this season but almost nobody would have guessed that they’d be one of the best teams in the entire league out of the gates. Is it sustainable? Frank thinks so.
Frank and Jason also talked about Flames Head Coach Ryan Huska’s decision to bench Jonathan Huberdeau. They talked about where the two sides go from here and how Huberdeau can turn it around.
Tyler then hopped on for a fresh edition of Fill in the Blank delivered by DoorDash. He asked the guys about Jack Campbell’s future, what’s next for the Sharks, and what Elias Pettersson’s next deal could look like.
