Kick-off your week with a brand new episode of The DFO Rundown! Frank and Jason started off the podcast with some talk about the Super Bowl and Valentine's Day. There was also some talk about which one of them is going to cave to their families first and get a puppy. 

  From there they dug into some trade talk starting with the Colorado Avalanche, who are on a historic heater right now. Will they make a big splash? What are they looking for? Those are the questions they looked at. They also touched on one of the powerhouse teams in the Eastern Conference: the Carolina Hurricanes. Last deadline Don Waddell just missed on some deals and he could be hungry to make a big addition this year.   They also had an extended conversation about the values of depth players. There are some fascinating situations around the league and some players who some teams could view as their versions of Barclay Goodrow and Blake Coleman. Frank and Jason both shared some surprising names that could fetch first-round picks at the deadline.
