Last weekend I spoke with Bruce Moncur, CAF Afghanistan campaign veteran himself was badly wounded, about the call of his organization Valour in the Presence of the Enemy for the awarding of the Canadian Victoria Cross to Private Jess Larochelle for his heroism in battle in 2006.. Bruce Moncur and General Rick Hillier appeared on air with us a year ago with the same recommendation. This past week the federal government made it official that the effort for a CVA for Jess Larochelle is a no go, as they responded to an electronic national petition E3636.
