When the circus comes to town; many get very excited. Circus’s are advertised as “fun for all ages”, and provide entertainment that you wouldn’t normally see. But in the case of a circus that went to Toronto in 1855 - it was not fun. In fact, it resulted in the start of changing the political structure of the city itself.
