WTMW 009: The Pancho Gonzales Serve - Deep Intelligence From Jim McLennan

Category: Sports & Recreation
Duration: 00:38:00
Publish Date: 2015-02-17 22:37:22
Description:

As you may know, I’ve got an instructional video project in the works that features one of America’s all-time great players - Dennis Ralston.

As the story goes, Dennis played a Davis Cup match in Mexico City where he threw in 22 double faults during the doubles match with Chuck McKinley.

Pancho Gonzales, the team coach, helped Dennis re-build his serve when they got back to the U.S.

So, who better to ask about the science behind Pancho’s own serve than Jim McLennan?

Jim’s answers are not for the faint of heart!  Hang in there, you’ll be glad you did ;-)
