I’ve been in the California desert for the past 3 weeks at our home in the Mission Hills CC, and I’ve played tennis 20 days in a row mostly on the grass and clay courts here (I’d be crippled if I’d played 20 days in a row on hard courts!).
One of the beauties of playing 20 days in a row is the real issues in your game keep rearing their ugly head over and over, so it’s a great reality check.
And for me, that’s always been my forehand groundstroke.
I want to give a big shout out to MHCC tennis professional Reed Anderson who helped point out a couple of out of balance elements in my forehand. It got me thinking …
BTW, if you’re looking for a great place to work on your game in an absolutely drop dead gorgeous place, look no further than the Reed Anderson Tennis School. http://www.reedandersontennis.com/
