Our guest today is taking advantage of his ability to grow a variety of decorative crops plus sweet corn.  Hunter Matthaei is able to grow crops on a major highway in his portion of South Dakota.  He has a built in platform for marketing his produce and corn on this stretch of highway.  And he does not take that for granted. Hunter has built up a reputation over the years and now people in his area know where to go for things like gourds, pumpkins and sweet corn.  The ability to sell produce this way has taught Hunter a lot about both business and human nature.  He gets to deal with a wide variety of people and learns how to meet their individual needs. REASONS TO DONATE TO FFA: Only 2% of Americans grow and raise most of the food and livestock consumed by the other 98% as well as the rest of the world.  FFA is providing the needed education, training and resources to Americans that will carry that torch forward and insure that America continues to have inexpensive, quality food. Rural Communities will rely on entrepreneurship in the future for population growth and job creation.  The FFA is a major catalyst to that entrepreneurial growth.
