Everything we have done prior to Step Eleven has prepared us for Step Eleven which is: “Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.” Prayer and meditation are our principal means of conscious contact with God. Step 11 is also when it becomes solidified that your Creator is running your life… you are asking for the will of the universe to be made known to you and to be given the strength to carry that out.
