Ninety-two percent of people who breastfeed say the experience rattles them. In 2020, Elizabeth Myer and Betsy Riley were among those feeling particularly drained as they navigated nursing. After reimagining what breastfeeding could look like, Myer and Riley founded SWEHL and a community and dialogue around breastfeeding was born. In this episode we discuss how SWEHL serves parents in need of a safe space by bringing them together to celebrate new milestones, helping mothers get reacquainted with their bodies and providing the comfort and support they need in this next chapter.
