Napalm Death was the first extreme metal band that I ever got into. Sure, I was into Slayer and Metallica and thrash but Napalm Death were among the first crop of bands that I heard that really pushed the genre into a new dimension. It’s an honor Barney Greenway on the show this week to talk about “Throes of Joy in the Jaws of Defeatism” and the general stat of this crazy moment in time we’re living in.
