Matthew Layton presents Studio 1 - Vision Australia Radio’s weekly look at life from a low vision and blind point of view.
On this week’s show…
The first in a series of shows in which Matthew asks blind and low vision Vision Australia Radio listeners how living through a pandemic has affected them.
This week his guest is grandmother, retired teacher of deaf/blind children, proud South Australian and history buff Anne Hyde.
As well as talking about the pandemic, the conversation touches upon topics as diverse as the Second World War, sport on the radio and Anne’s career as a teacher for deaf/blind children here in Adelaide.
If you enjoy this week’s show and feel you would like to share your experiences of living in a pandemic, please get in touch with the show.
