Ms Chow says the cell therapy company received positive feedback from a pre-investigational new drug (pre-IND) meeting with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the lead up to a phase 1A study of the drug in treating gastrointestinal and neuroendocrine tumours. The FDA’s responses provide a clear path to an IND submission for CHM 2101. Chimeric is also evaluating another novel CAR-T therapy, CHM 1101, to treat recurrent or progressive glioblastoma (brain cancer).
