Blackstone Minerals (ASX: BSX) managing director Scott Williamson joins Small Caps to discuss the company’s positive pre-feasibility study results for the proposed upstream Ta Khoa nickel project in northern Vietnam. The study has confirmed a larger beneficiation plant can provide secure, sustainable and economic supplies of nickel from Ta Khoa for Blackstone’s downstream refinery to generate nickel-cobalt-manganese precursor products for South East Asia’s lithium battery industry. Following the positive pre-feasibility study, Blackstone is progressing approvals to begin definitive feasibility work.
