	Description:		Across Australia, for every dollar a man earns, women on average are earning 88- point- 8 cents. The government's gender equality agency says the gender pay gap has narrowed to 11. 2 per cent. And while most sectors have seen improvements, pay gaps remain large in some male-dominated industries, such as finance, construction and mining.
