Description: Mistrust, fear and systematic barriers, these are the reasons why Victorians experiencing racism are hesitant to report the incidents, according to a new study by Victoria University. It also found that almost eight in ten people didn't know where or how to report racism, while nine in ten people believe that reporting would result in no change. What could be done to encourage people to speak up against racism? Wing Kuang spoke to Associate Professor Mario Peucker from the research team.
