After a two-year hiatus, Australian television’s night of nights, the Logie Awards, returned in flashy fashion on the Gold Coast Sunday night.
Lego Masters host Hamish Blake was the night’s golden boy, winning the Gold Logie for most popular personality on Australian TV.
Critically acclaimed ABC dramas The Newsreader and Fires took out awards, and the industry paused to honour the late, great, Bert Newton.
It was a celebration of an industry that’s had a tough couple of years during Covid lockdowns, as well as the best of Australian television.
