In Victoria, an ongoing branch stacking investigation has so far claimed four state ministers. At a federal level, there’s currently no such watchdog. Prime Minister Scott Morrison took the promise of a national integrity commission to the last election, and now, in the last sitting weeks of the year, his plan will be put before parliament.
