However, Amazon.com Inc fell -5.55% after the company forecast a more than 50% jump in capital expenditures this year as part of its fourth quarter result released after the close of the previous session, intensifying the AI-driven spending spree already underway among its "Magnificent Seven" mega-capitalisation peers.
