International Business Machines (IBM) fell 6.17% to be the worst performer in the 30-stock index after a mixed third quarter result after the close of the previous session. Boeing Co -1.19% after the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Union rejected a new labour contract, extending a six-week strike that has crippled production.
