Bara Wahbeh is the co-founder of Akyas - a Jordanian start-up and one of the top 10 finalists of InfraChallenge 2021. The United Nations estimates half of the global population lack access to safe sanitation and 1 in 4 people around the world lack safe drinking water. We interview Bara to explore how his low-cost, low-maintenance, non-sewer sanitation system could remove cost barriers to water and sanitation infrastructure.
