A few days after his 25th birthday last year, Jordan was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer called Ewing’s Sarcoma. In a heartbreaking twist, his mother Ahuaiti, who left her job to support him through an aggressive program of chemo, then became very sick herself - and ended up in hospital where she was diagnosed with an advanced stage of pancreatic cancer. As the pair continue their ongoing health battles with daily hospital appointments and check ups, Ahuaiti’s husband Darrin has been working endlessly to keep a roof over the family-of-eight’s heads and care for Jordan’s five siblings. Unfortunately, they have since lost their family home and have been forced to live with friends until accommodation can be found. After hearing their story, Fitzy and Wippa wanted to give them $25,000 to help them find a new home and cover some medical bills.
