We have a special guest on the show today who is one of the renovation superstars featured in our new book. Samantha Sutton joins Rebeka today to talk about the beautiful 1860’s Michigan farmhouse that she and her partner, Sean, have been renovating for the last 4 years.
In this episode, Sam shares how the renovation journey has been so far and the work involved in salvaging a boarded up farmhouse that was about to be demolished. She talks about why they decided to do a lot of the work themselves (ok, it was her expensive taste) and how their professional backgrounds were woven into the building and design work.
We also talk about Sam’s greatest learning experience throughout the renovation process, how they’ve been handling the budget for the project and what they’ve been looking at in terms of future projects. We know it never stops!
You can follow Sam and Sean’s renovation journey on Instagram and be sure to keep an eye out for her soon to be released HD series which follows their journey from demo to finished product.
