In recent years, especially through social media, there has been a strong re-educational emphasis from many feminists I know to remind friends/the public that ‘Feminisim’ is an egalitarian movement—which focuses on women’s rights.

So when I see an organisation that is bold to advocate fathers rights, such as the Australian Brotherhood of Fathers—a group that in no way do I consider to be ‘chauvinistic’, it has me asking the question “is it OK to feel strongly for the equal rights of fathers regarding parenthood after separation/divorce, and still be a feminist?”
