In this episode, we understand how benchmarking is helping farmers understand their business and adapt to the modern world.

First stop is the Millewa region of the far north west of Victoria to meet third generation farmer Ian Arney. Ian has used benchmarking to allow him to maintain a profitable business in a low rainfall region.

Then we visit Agriculture Victoria’s Sam Henty who believes all business’ should be collecting valuable data to allow them to better understand their business performance over time, “most farmers have the capacity to do this themselves.”
