HM2 Tyler Fogg is a US Navy Corpsman that I worked with at 1st ANGLICO and has had some interesting billets during his ongoing career.
Prior to being assigned to 1st ANGLICO, Fogg worked with the US Customs and Border Patrol on the southern border and was involved in emplacing sensors to monitor human and drug trafficking as well as assisting in the apprehension of illegal immigrants, human traffickers and drug mules.
Following that assignment, Fogg had the opportunity to train at the Navy Trauma Training Center in Los Angeles. This training program allows military medical personnel to work in one of the busiest trauma centers in the country and get hands-on experience with gunshot, stab, and other types of traumatic injuries. This allows military members to get vital hands-on experience prior to deploying downrange.
Fogg also attended the west coast Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) course and used that experience to help sway him to become an east coast SERE instructor. Although the actual courseware is classified, Fogg gives some insight into how the school is conducted and what prospective students can do to be successful.
Overall, another great interview that was not only entertaining but informative as well.
