John Carughi is a former Marine infantryman that spent four years at Marine Corps Base Hawaii; however, Carughi recently became known internet-wide after a video of him disarming a rioter that had taken possession of a police rifle went viral during the height of the George Floyd protests.
Today, Carughi joins me to briefly discuss his 4-year stint in the Marines and some of the training he received as an infantryman and marksmanship instructor. We also discuss his current career as a security contractor and a firearms instructor.
Carughi has continued to blow up in the media so I appreciate him taking the time to come on the podcast and I look forward to our next interview.
As always, make sure to subscribe and share the show!
