Description: SSgt Dustin Real was a United States Marine Corps Fire Support Man and Joint Terminal Attack Controller that served with 5th ANGLICO, 11th Marine Regiment, 1st Battalion 5th Marine Regiment, and 1st ANGLICO. In addition, Real served as an instructor at the Marine Artillery Scout Observer Course aboard the Army's Ft. Sill, Oklahoma.

In 2012, Real deployed with his Supporting Arms Liaison Team (SALT) from 1st ANGLICO to Afghanistan to be the fire support specialist for a Georgian Liaison Team. The Georgians are part of the coalition fighting with the United States against the Taliban and their supporters and ANGLICO routinely augments them with SALTs.
