Plus, we introduce our October issue, in which we talk to husband-and-wife team mezzo Magdalena Kožená and maestro Simon Rattle about their recording of works for voice and piano. We also try out the BBC Philharmonic’s new in-concert app, and, as usual, we each bring along a new recording we’ve been enjoying this month.
