Her killer, Jerry Buck Inman, waited for Souers to return home and then sneaked into her room through the apartment’s balcony. Inman bound Souers by her wrist, raped her, stole her debit card, and then strangled her with her bikini top. Jerry Buck Inman is currently on death row and is known by the media as the “Bikini Strangler”.
