Description:

The rock and roll icon dazzled audiences with her blues-soaked voice. She fully embraced the rock n’ roll spirit of the 1960’s and her music career was exploding. But on October 4, 1970, Joplin died alone in room #105 of the Landmark Hotel in Hollywood. She was 27 years old and her body lay undiscovered for 18 hours. Dr. Michael Hunter examines Janis Joplin’s autopsy report and draws a picture of her last days and final hours. We’ll drop a new Autopsy podcast each Wednesday. Next week… Autopsy examines the death of Miles Davis
