And so that we would never forget, Jesus gave us our own celebration. “He took the bread, he gave thanks and broke it,…saying, ‘This is My body which is given for you;’…He also took the cup, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is shed for you'”(Luke 22:19-20). A broken body? Spilled blood? Can good come from this? Communion says yes. You have a good God, who has a good plan, and that plan is revealed in his good book.
