In the previous episode, we’ve introduced several remarkable percussion compositions by Zhu Jianping, a principle percussionist from the China National Traditional Orchestra, as well as a talented composer.
Mr Zhu dabbles in a range of world music genres, like Jazz, Reggae, dance, and blends these popular elements into Chinese classic instrumental works.
He believes it is pivotal in the breakthrough of Chinese music to a broader audience.
