Today I am interviewing Bartele (Bart) Santema.
Bart is an entrepreneur and “ideas man” as he calls himself. Always on the lookout for a business opportunity.
This has taken him from illegally driving his mobile food truck, to taking chances in Indonesia a country where he has built a network of bars, a publishing company and an antique maps business.
Bart describes the horrors of working for someone else and the freedom he has created for himself. An impulsive decision maker who is fighting a big liquor maker in holland over the name Santema Beerenburg.
I am meeting Bart in one of the nicest areas of the Netherlands: Friesland, where he now lives with his Indonesian wife and kids.
