The menu at la locanda di mezzo is an artist’s menu, reminiscent of the artist’s book, a genre with techniques in its own right as first propounded by william Blake between the eighteenth and the nineteenth centuries. as if there were a common thread binding the countries across the channel with Barga, four artists – Fabrizio Da Prato, Giorgia Madiai, Keane, and Stefano Tommasi – are enhancing a sophisticated oenogastronomic search through their art. The new menu is printed in different copies, each containing a unique creation born from the imagination of the artists and the chef.
