Description:
After taking a pause to listen, educate, and reflect we are back this week in the wake of the tragic murder of George Floyd amongst many others.  Jaclyn is joined by guests  Megan Cuzzolino & Hollis Maloney, the founders of www.mindfulnessandantiracism.com .  This conversation all stemmed from their post “White Folks, let’s talk” announcing a group they formed to open the discussion and create a space to actively explore inner work, interpersonal work, intercultural systemic work required to dismantle the cycle of racism.  If you have been paralyzed in not knowing what to say, how to act, what to do - this is especially a must listen.  In the episode we discuss:

-Confidence in saying the wrong thing, not staying silent, and being corrected
-Anti Racism
-Tools to educate yourself on racism
-White Privilege
-Dismantling Racism
-How to have uncomfortable conversations about race
-Performative Activism
-#blacklivesmatter
-Mindfulness & Self Care during a pandemic, protests, and the future
-Voting
-Amplifying Unheard Diverse Voices
-Educating from home at an early age

And most of all the importance of LISTENING, EDUCATING, and using your PLATFORM to be apart of the change.
This is just the beginning and much more education and change is needed.  If you have any questions/comments email:
