Hello and welcome to the The Spark & The Art creativity podcast. Thank you for subscribing to our weekly podcast, where we alternate between interviews with creative folks from all different career levels and insight and inspiration episodes. All with the intention you’ll get what you need to get your creative projects started and, more importantly, finished. I’m your host Tucker and this week is an interview with actor and audiobook narrator Sean Pratt. Sean has narrated over 900 audiobooks in his 20 year career and just keeps going. In today’s chat we talk about starting as an actor in repertory companies and his love of classical theatre. We also talk about when he felt successful as an actor. The other thing we talk about is his niche and the challenge it holds that keeps him coming back week after week to just keep doing more books. Sean also gives a great explanation of how he uses his acting skills to get into the character of the author to give the best reading he can. I’m sure you’ll enjoy today’s chat with Sean Pratt Do you know someone who seems a little scattered in their projects and could use a little push to get them to just focus on something to get good at? I know I just described myself but I’ve already heard this episode. So if you could please share it with someone else who could use a little inspiration to get to work please share this episode with them. The easiest way to share is to send the short url TheSparkAndTheArt.com/141 the hardest way is to encode a transcription of the episode into a DNA strand and inject it into your friend while they are asleep and hope that the message just splices itself into their being.
