Jon Gaunt is delighted that Boris is seriously considering scrapping Hs2. It is a complete white elephant and a vanity project. What we actually need is high speed internet in every house so that more people can work from home.

They are like Marie Antoinette telling us to eat cake and not take a flight whilst they salve their eco and green credentials by giving a donation to charity.
