Hanna Boëthius has lived with Type 1 Diabetes as her constant companion for over 30 years, and it was as if her whole life fell into place when she started eating low carb in 2011. She has gained much of her health back, thanks to simply eating right. Hanna is a coach, writer and speaker, who loves diabetes topics that are off of the beaten track. She’s passionate to find motivational and inspiring ways to bring about a change in diabetes management, with international public speaking engagements and smaller workshops as her main tools. Through her own company, Hanna Diabetes Expert, she’s coached numerous people with diabetes to a healthier life. She has a profound understanding of how things like nutrition and lifestyle choices can balance diabetes. Hanna is also on the board of trustees of the Swedish non-profit organization Smarta Diabetiker, whose purpose is to spread information about low carb and diabetes. She’s also co-founder of the first 100% Low Carb event of it’s kind in Europe, called The Low Carb Universe, taking place in November 2017 in Mallorca, Spain.
