Im Rahmen der Ausstellung »GLOBAL CONTROL AND CENSORSHIP« beleuchten die Vorträge und die anschließende Diskussion den Bundesnachrichtendienst (BND), sowohl aus einer künstlerisch-dokumentarischen, als auch aus einer historischen Perspektive.
Der Bundesnachrichtendienst (BND) ist neben dem Bundesamt für Verfassungsschutz (BfV) und dem Amt für den Militärischen Abschirmdienst (MAD) einer der drei deutschen Nachrichtendienste des Bundes. Als Auslandsnachrichtendienst besteht seine Aufgabe darin, Erkenntnisse, die von außen- und sicherheitspolitischer Bedeutung für die Bundesrepublik sind, zu gewinnen.

As part of the »GLOBAL CONTROL AND CENSORSHIP« exhibition, the lectures and subsequent discussion highlight the German intelligence service (BND) – both from an artistic and documentary perspective and from a historical point of view.
Together with the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV) and the Military Counterintelligence Service (MAD), the German intelligence service (BND) is one of the three Federal intelligence agencies in Germany. As a foreign intelligence agency, its task is acquiring knowledge which is important to the Federal Republic in terms of foreign policy and security policy.
