Deacon Dave Carignan preached at all of the masses at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church for the first weekend in September. In this homily from the 10 AM Mass, Deacon Dave discusses the scandal in the Catholic Church as a crisis of the human heart and remarks that the church leadership cannot bring about the needed healing. Only the people can bring about healing by demanding that the full truth come out so that the many good and holy priests and bishops can be freed from the chains of suspicion. Deacon Dave encourages the congregants to fast and pray for Jesus to calm the storm and bring healing to His church.
